Rashid Khan’s stunning fielding

The incident occurred in the third over of Mumbai Indians’ innings when Ishan Kishan advanced down the track and played a left-handed drive towards mid-on. Rashid Khan, in pursuit of the ball, attempted to slide and grab it but unfortunately missed. Consequently, the ball rolled and made contact with the boundary rope.

However, Rashid continued his relentless chase and miraculously prevented the ball from reaching the boundary. In the process, he endured a painful fall, landing flat on his face, which was evident from the visible discomfort captured by the camera. The replay of the incident showed Rashid’s successful save of the boundary, although Ishan and Rohit managed to complete three runs during the sequence.

Prompted by Rashid Khan’s fall, the Titans’ physio swiftly arrived on the field to assess his condition. Despite the incident, the determined Afghanistani cricketer continued to participate in the match and remarkably returned to take the wickets of two well-established batsmen, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, in a single over.
