PM Modi: The Prime Minister of India will visit Varanasi today as he will lay the foundation of the new stadium that is set to be built in the city. He will also inaugurate the Atal Awasiya Vidyalayas that will be built all across the state.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister will also take part in the Kashi Sansad Sanskritik Mahotsav 2023 closing ceremony later in the day. It will be a hectic day for the PM which will be filled with lots of ceremonies.
The town of Varanasi is excited to host PM Modi in their city and residents are ready to welcome him. The whole city was filled with illuminated lights and festive decorations to welcome him. People have decorated their homes ahead of the visit by the Prime Minister.
Inauguration Of The Stadium
According to the officials and reports, Shri Narendra Modi will lay the foundation of the stadium at around 1:30 PM. He will later address the crowd in a public meeting and the District Magistrate, Varanasi, S Rajalingam has instructed everyone to be prepared at all costs.
The stadium project is being developed on around 30 acres of land with a budget of almost 450 crores. The theme of this stadium takes direct inspiration from Lord Shiva and the pictures released are beautiful.
The VIP box will be in a ‘Damru’ shape while the floodlights will be in the shape of a ‘Trishul’. There will be step-based sitting and the stadium will have a capacity of almost 30,000 spectators.
PM Modi Full Itinerary
After the inauguration ceremony of the stadium, PM Modi will reach Rudraksh International Cooperation and Convention Centre at around 3:15 PM. There, he will meet the 20 finalists of the ongoing Kashi Sansad Sanskritik Mahotsav in Varanasi. He will inaugurate the schools during this ceremony only.
