PSL 2023: The Lahore Qalandars team put up an impressive performance on Monday against the Islamabad United team in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the Gaddafi Stadium. The home team won the toss and chose to bat first, which proved to be a wise decision as they posted a challenging total of 200/7 in 20 overs. However, a new video has gone viral on social media. The video shows legendary bowler Rashid Khan hitting the MSD trademark Helicopter Shot.

Rashid hits a giant six

The Islamabad United side was dismissed for just 90 runs in 13.5 overs, all because to the Qalandars’ outstanding bowling performance. All-rounder David Wiese of the Shaheen Afridi-led team claimed three wickets, while Rashid Khan and Sikandar Raza each took two. Rashid had a significant impact with the bat as well, hitting two fours and a six in his 18 runs off of 12 balls. The Qalandars easily won the game after dominating it from the beginning to the end.

Afghanistan’s star all-rounder Rashid Khan proved his worth yet again in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) when he hit a massive 99m six off Tom Curran in the 19th over of the innings. Rashid’s power-packed shot sailed over midwicket and into the stands, leaving the opposition and fans awestruck. This was just one of the many brilliant performances that Rashid has put up in the T20 format.

Earlier this year, Rashid achieved a monumental feat when he became only the second bowler ever to take 500 wickets in T20 cricket. He achieved this remarkable milestone while playing for MI Cape Town in the SA20 League. Rashid dismissed Clyde Fortuin in the 14th over during the match against Pretoria Capitals, to join the elite club of cricketers who have taken 500 wickets in T20s. The only other player in this club is West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo. Rashid’s consistent and outstanding performances in T20s have made him one of the most sought-after players in the world of cricket.
