PSL 2023: England’s young and talented all-rounder Tom Curran is making waves in the current Pakistan Super League. A powerful delivery from Curran in the 16th game of PSL 2023 ripped the middle stump in half, shocking the internet. Fakhar Zaman, star batsman for the Lahore Qalandars, was clean bowled by Curran in the video of this magnificent delivery that has gone viral.

The aggressive batsman Fakhar Zaman was facing Curran when he threw the delivery in the eighth over of Lahore Qalandars’ innings. Zaman was having a great game, scoring 36 runs on the strength of five fours and a six, but Curran’s speed was not easy to handle.
With a delivery clocked at 134.7 km/h and aimed towards the off stump, the England all-rounder delivered a lightning-quick ball. The Lahore Qalandars’ batsman Fakhar Zaman made a risky choice by attempting a huge hit, but it backfired. He misjudged the pitch, and the middle stump was broken in half as the bottom edge of the bat struck it. Fans are awestruck by the pace and precision of the delivery as the video of this sensational wicket is now being shared widely on social media.

Tom Curran played well in the game, taking three wickets in four overs while only giving up 34 runs. But despite his excellent efforts, his squad was unable to win. Lahore Qalandars, who only lost 7 wickets in their allocated 20 overs, had given Islamabad United a lofty 201-run mark to chase. Islamabad United suffered a humiliating loss as a result of their batting lineup’s inability to perform, as they were dismissed for just 90 runs in just 13.5 overs.
