When will Sachin Tendulkar’s statue be installed?

The installation of the statue is expected to take place either on April 30, which is Sachin’s 50th birthday or during the 50-over World Cup, which is slated for later this year. According to reports, this is one of the most significant honours that the cricketing great will receive, and it is a testament to his indelible legacy.

This is a significant development, as it signifies Sachin’s willingness to be commemorated in this manner and his continued association with the sport.

He said, “He (Tendulkar) is a Bharat Ratna and everyone knows what he has done for cricket. As he turns 50, it will be a small token of appreciation from the MCA. I spoke to him three weeks ago and his consent was received.” Continuing further he said, “It will be the first statue in Wankhede Stadium, we will decide where it will be placed.”
