Suryakumar Yadav: Team India recovered from a setback against South Africa on Sunday to triumph on Wednesday in the ongoing T20 World Cup in Adelaide. In yet another thrilling match, Rohit Sharma and company defeated Bangladesh by five runs during a match that was hampered by rain. The star player of the Indian team, Virat Kohli, once again excelled by slamming an unbeaten 64 off 44 balls, an innings that included eight 4s and one 6.

However, a video of Suryakumar from middle of the match is going viral. Read below to know about the incident.

India gave a strong total to chase

The good news was KL Rahul returning to form as Kohli kept up his fantastic World Cup performance. The Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan invited India to bat first, and the great opener, who had been having trouble scoring runs in recent matches, responded with a score of 50 and gave India a strong start.

India continued to amass a mammoth 184/6 in 20 overs, riding the momentum of their innings and a cameo from R Ashwin in the last over.

Litton Das led the pursuit as Bangladesh responded by getting out to a solid start. Until rain stopped play, Das hit a 21-ball fifty and change the momentum in Bangladesh’s favour.

The target was altered after the forced interruption to 151 in 16 overs. Suryakumar Yadav, the star player for India, made a fantastic gesture toward the crowd when Bangladesh quickly lost wickets after the intermission.

The supporters were encouraged to begin chanting “India” by Suryakumar, who made two outstanding catches. He continued his antics by placing his hands over his ears and making a motion indicating he still cannot hear as we moved near the distant fence. With the description “Indian and proud,” ICC posted the video.

With six points after four games, India has now moved to the top of Group 2’s points standings. The following match, against Zimbabwe, will take place on Sunday at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
