India announced the squad for the Australian series where, the mystery spinner Varun Chakraborty, was selected in the T20I series. Varun called the moment a dreamy feeling. Varun has taken 13 wickets so far in the current season of IPL, including 5 wickets in a match.
This 29-year-old player started taking his spin in his career seriously after 2018. He said that he didn’t expect to be selected in the national team. He has played only 12 T20s and so far has participated in only one first-class match.
Chakraborty told BCCITV after the match against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), “After the match I came to know about it (selection in the Indian team), I will constantly use the same word that it is a dreamy feeling.”
