Delhi Police Seeks Supporting Evidence in WFI Sexual Harassment Case

According to reports, the Delhi Police has requested photos, audio, and video to support the charges made by two female wrestlers that Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, a BJP MP, touched their breasts and stomachs while ostensibly monitoring their respiration. Four out of the six female athletes on Sunday offered audio and visual proof to support their claims. The wrestlers, who have been protesting Singh since April 23 over the allegations of sexual harassment, are calling for his arrest. Anurag Thakur, the sports minister, assured the wrestlers on June 7 that a charge-sheet will be filed against Singh by June 15. As a result, the wrestlers decided to put an end to their protest. The protesting wrestlers are aware that the WFI president won’t be taken into custody anytime soon.
