After a spectacular, action-packed Day 1 in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final 2025, there is a chance of thunderstorms and precipitation, will be 55% chance during the match.
 
The weather in London changed rapidly, and the English summers unprecedented weather could impediment during the second day of the final of WTC.
 
South Africa is already on the back foot with their batting failure, and if the play halts on the second day due to weather, then the Proteas batters will find it difficult to settle due to the delay.

The conditions will be pleasant to start the play of the day on time as the temperature will be around 25 degrees celcuis to 27 degrees Celsius on day 2 of the Test match. 
 
The forecast will change when the game progresses, and the second session might be halted due to unexpected showers; clouds will be dense at that time, around 68%. The wind speed will also increase in the afternoon session, as the speed can reach up to 43km/h.
 
There is less chance of rainfall as the estimated rainfall is expected to be 0.5 mm. The first and last sessions of Day 2 will get much more delightful conditions to play.

WTC Final Day 1 summary

The pace bowlers dominated the play of Day 1 in the ICC WTC final 2025, as 14 wickets fell on the first day, and out of 14, fast bowlers scalped 12 wickets on Day 1. 
 
South Africa invited Australia to bat first, and the Proteas bowlers bundled the Aussies for just 212 runs. Only Steve Smith and Beau Webster fought against the Proteas bowlers as both made fighting half-centuries.
 
Aussie bowlers made a stunning comeback in the last session by dismissing four Proteas batters at the end of day 1, and stopped them for 43/4 and are still trailing by 169 runs.
