New Delhi: Spiritual leader Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham expressed outrage at the recent blast near the Red Fort in Delhi, which has shaken India as a whole. Shastri was speaking at a gathering in Madhya Pradesh when he condemned the blast, saying those behind such “anti-national acts” need to endure the harshest of punishment, perhaps even death.
“This accused must be hanged publicly so none dares to disturb the peace of Bharat again,” he said, while thousands of followers around him cheered, chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai.’
‘HINDU UNITY IS THE REAL CHANGE’
When asked about the blast, Shastri underscored the fact that these attacks would certainly attack what is the soul of a nation rather than attacking property or individuals…
“When Hindus unite beyond caste and region, no vikram, power can fight Bharat.” Bali refers back to the “kast of the Katharsh ko koand” in village form, bars freedom in a group who join the national constitutional assembly regardless of party affiliation.
The preacher, who has been a part of many religious and cultural movements as an ‘abandon which lacks,’ explained that unity and awareness of community and citizenship will be ‘needed to fight acts of terror and misguided efforts in society…
Red Fort Blast Investigation Underway
The serious comments followed up a multi-agency inquiry into the Red Fort car blast, which investigators say is connected to a terrorist module caught in Faridabad. The car was apparently registered to a physician from Jammu and Kashmir who is suspected of being in a “white-collar” network responsible for funding and carrying out terrorist activities in the area.
Officials indicated multiple arrests had been made, and forensic personnel had found similarities between the Red Fort blast and the explosives recovered previously in Haryana.
Nation Calls for Accountability
Social media has erupted with reactions to Shastri’s statement. While many praised his boldness in confronting terrorism, others called for restraint until the inquiry is concluded.
