TN NMMS Result 2025 :The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has released the results of the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Examination conducted in February 2025. This scholarship aims to support high-achieving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Over 2.3 lakh Class 8 pupils from government and government-aided schools appeared for the examination. Results are now available on the official DGE website – dge.tn.gov.in.

How to Check TN NMMS Result 2025

To access the result, pupils or parents must have the 10-digit roll number and date of birth ready. Follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the official website – dge.tn.gov.in

  2. Locate the link titled ‘TN NMMS Result – February 2025’ on the homepage

  3. Click on the link to be redirected to the login page

  4. Enter the required credentials (roll number and DOB)

  5. Submit the details to view the result

How to Download the Result

Once the result is displayed on the screen, it is advisable to download and print a copy for future use. Here's how:

  • Click the ‘Download’ or ‘Print’ option displayed alongside the result

  • Save the result as a PDF file on your device

  • Print a hard copy for record-keeping or scholarship submission purposes

What is the TN NMMS Examination?

The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is a centrally sponsored scheme implemented by state examination authorities to encourage meritorious students from lower-income families to continue their education beyond Class 8. Successful candidates receive financial assistance annually to support their schooling up to Class 12.

In Tamil Nadu, the NMMS examination for the February 2025 session was held on 22 February 2025. A total of 2,30,345 students registered for the test from various government and aided schools across the state.
