Ghaziabad News: THESE areas around Lal Kuan to get rid of Waterlogging on GT Road, complete report here

Ghaziabad News

Ghaziabad News: The NHAI intends to widen GT Road and construct flyovers and underpasses in order to eliminate traffic jams. The project’s DPR is almost complete. After widening, there shouldn’t be any issues with waterlogging on the road.

Comprehensive Drain Construction

In order to do this, drains from Lalkuan to the Giani Border will be built on both sides. It’s probably going to cost about Rs 55 crore. More than 20 colonies on both sides of the GT Road will no longer experience waterlogging thanks to the construction of a 16-kilometer drain.

Holistic Drainage Network

The plan is to build drains on both sides of the 16-kilometer road, which will alleviate waterlogging for residents of colonies like Hindon Vihar, New Hindon Vihar, Rajendra Nagar, Shyam Park Extension, Radheshyam Park, Shalimar Garden, etc., in addition to four industrial areas, Kot village, Rakesh Marg, Arya Nagar, Gandhinagar, Ghantaghar, Bajaria, Delhi Gate, Hapur Road, Patel Nagar, Kirana Mandi, Kaila Bhatta, Arthala, and others. Actually, the old drains will be closed as a result of the scheme’s widening. This could lead to a problem with waterlogging in the surrounding colonies and roads. It has been decided to build a drain in order to get around that issue.
