Weather Update January 30 2026: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), rainfall and snowfall are likely to continue in isolated parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Weather Update January 30 2026-Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan
Panchkula, Guhla, Patiala, Jalandhar, Ferozepur, Karnal, Pathankot, Gurdaspur along with Pehowa, Shahabad, Ambala, Indri and Narayangarh are likely to witness thick fog, especially during early morning hours along with moderate rainfall.
Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Amloh, Nabha, Rajpura, Dera Bassi and Anandpur Sahib could receive heavy rainfall. Many areas in Rampura Phul, Bassi Pathana, Khanna, Payal, Malerkotla, Samana, Nangal, Hoshiarpur, Baba Bakala, Batala and Bhulath may witness violent thunderstorms and moderate to heavy rainfall.
Sonipat, Panipat, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur and Kaithal along with Thanesar, Nilokheri, Radaur, Barara, Jagadhri, Kalka and Chhachhrauli may receive mild rainfall and thick, dense fog.

Isolated areas in Ghaziabad, Noida, Delhi, Gurugram and Faridabad may witness chilling waves, especially during early morning and late evening or night hours. There is a marginal possibility of rainfall during late night hours.
Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand
Parts in Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Baramulla, Budgam, Doda, Jammu, Kathua and Uttarkashi could receive cold waves and heavy rainfall and snowfall.
Heavy rainfall and snowfall may be witnessed in Kinnaur, Almora, Pithoragarh, Anantnag, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Tehri Garhwal. Pauri Garhwal, Chamoli, Shimla, Kullu, Mandi and Kangra may experience similar set of weather conditions.
Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam
Aizawl, Lunglei, Champhai, Imphal, Thoubal, Bishnupur and Itanagar may notice thick and dense fog. Some areas in Mangan, Shillong, Tura, Dharmanagar, Namchi and Tuensang may receive moderate rainfall.
West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha
Kharagpur, Durgapur, Raiganj, Ranaghat, English Bazar, Baharampur and Habra are likely to receive chilling, cold waves throughout the day. Haldia, Krishnanagar, Nabadwip, Medinipur, Jalpaiguri, Shantipur, Dankuni and Dhulian are likely to witness moderate to slightly cold waves.
Southern States, Puducherry and Daman & Diu
Mysuru, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Salem, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Thrissur, Mangaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad, Puducherry and Chennai are likely to witness pleasant weather throughout the day.
