Weather Update January 28 2026: Ghaziabad, Noida, Delhi, Gurugram and Faridabad are likely to receive heavy rainfall along with snowfall in some areas.

Weather Update January 28 2026: The Northern India is all set to be embroiled in heavy rainfall. There is a big possibility of snowfall in upper Northern regions of the country.

Weather Update January 28 2026-Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan

Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Sonipat, Panipat, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Patiala, Jalandhar, Ferozepur, Karnal and Kaithal along with Ambala, Indri, Narayangarh, Thanesar, Panchkula, Guhla, Pehowa, Shahabad, Nilokheri, Radaur, Barara, Jagadhri, Kalka and Chhachhrauli are likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall along with snowfall in some areas.

Ghaziabad, Noida, Delhi, Gurugram and Faridabad are likely to receive heavy rainfall along with snowfall in some areas. Malerkotla, Batala, Rampura Phul, Bassi Pathana, Khanna and Payal are likely to experience moderate to heavy rainfall. Some parts of Samana, Patiala and Fatehgarh Sahib are also likely to receive light to moderate rainfall. Rajpura, Dera Bassi, Nangal, Hoshiarpur, Baba Bakala, Amloh, Nabha and Anandpur Sahib may witness heavy to very heavy rainfall.

Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand

Several regions in Baramulla, Budgam, Doda, Jammu, Kathua and Uttarkashi are likely to receive fresh round of snowfall and rainfall. Anantnag, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Pauri Garhwal, Chamoli, Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Kangra, Kinnaur, Almora, Pithoragarh and Tehri Garhwal are likely to get heavy to very heavy snowfall and rainfall.

Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam

Tuensang, Aizawl, Lunglei, Champhai, Imphal, Thoubal, Bishnupur and Agartala are likely to receive thick fog. Rainfall may be experienced in some of these areas. Namchi, Mangan, Shillong, Tura, Dharmanagar and Itanagar are also likely to notice light rainfall.

Southern States, Puducherry and Daman & Diu

Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Salem, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Thrissur and Kollam are likely to face fresh rounds of rainfall. Mysuru, Mangaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad, Puducherry and Chennai may also witness rainfall.

West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha

English Bazar, Baharampur, Habra, Kharagpur and Balurghat may experience pleasant weather. Bardhaman, Durgapur, Raiganj, Krishnanagar, Nabadwip, Medinipur, Jalpaiguri, Shantipur, Dankuni, Dhulian, Ranaghat and Haldia may witness mild rainfall.
