Weather Update March 24 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya would receive moderate to heavy rainfall.
Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladkah
Handwara, Kargil, Katra, Kupwara, Leh, Pahalgam, Pulwama, Rajouri, Ramban, Reasi, Shopian, Sopore, Bhaderwah, Budgam, Ganderbal and Zanskar may witness lightning and thunderstorms along with moderate to heavy snowfall.
Gauchar, Gopeshwar, Guptkashi, Jaspur, Joshimath, Karnaprayag, Berinag, Champawat, Chaukhutia, Dwarahat, Laksar, Lohaghat, Narendranagar, Purola and Sitarganj may notice little to moderate rainfall along with violent thunderstorms, especially during early morning or late night hours.

Kanina, Ladwa, Loharu, Naraingarh, Narnaund, Nilokheri, Pataudi, Rania, Ganaur, Hansi, Hathin, Julana, Kalanaur and Siwani along with Goraya, Jaitu, Khamanon, Lehragaga, Machhiwara, Majitha, Maloud and Moonak are likely to witness cloudy skies with a low probability for little to moderate rainfall. Dasuya, Dera Baba Nanak, Dhariwal, Dirba and Garhshankar may also witness the same weather conditions.
