Indore News: In Rajwada, a significant number of people opted for a “non-traditional” approach to celebrate Rang Panchami, refraining from playing with colors. Meanwhile, the Indore Municipal Corporation swiftly conducted cleanliness operations in just a few hours following the festivities.
Colorful Celebrations Across India on Holi
In the capital city of Bhopal, the spirit of Holi is being celebrated with great enthusiasm. As part of the festivities, a colorful procession, known as ‘Juloos,’ will take place in the city. Interestingly, it was under the banner of the Hindu Utsav Samiti that the first-ever Juloos for Rang Panchami was organized back in 1960. Inspired by the tradition initiated in Indore, businessmen in Bhopal also began the tradition of organizing a colorful procession for Rang Panchami.
Rang Panchami Observations and Clean-Up Initiatives in Rajwada and Bhopal
The Rang Panchami celebrations in Bhopal will commence on Monday, with the procession scheduled for Tuesday. Tankers will sprinkle colors on participants during the procession. According to Devendra Singh Bana, the coordinator of the Hindu Utsav Samiti’s procession, this year’s Rang Panchami celebration will witness the presence of saints, citizens, representatives of business organizations, and social workers.
Enhancing the festive spirit, special attractions such as depictions of Shiv Parvati, Radha Krishna, and Braj Holi will be showcased during the procession. Additionally, traditional elements like drum beats, DJs, and decorated camels will add to the vibrancy of the event. Notably, modern technology, including high-tech machines, will be utilized to shower participants with colorful gulal during the procession.
Initiating from Subhash Chowk, the Rang Panchami procession will traverse through various prominent locations before concluding at the Madhia of Hanuman Ji. With the active participation of saints, citizens, business representatives, and social workers, the procession promises to be a joyous and colorful celebration of the auspicious festival of Rang Panchami.
