Mohan Yadav urges public awareness and cleanliness on National Dengue Day

He urged citizens not to allow waterlogging in and around their homes and localities, as stagnant water becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Mohan Yadav on Thursday appealed to people to remain alert against dengue and promote cleanliness measures to prevent the spread of the mosquito-borne disease on the occasion of National Dengue Day.

In a message shared on social media, the Chief Minister said cleanliness, public awareness and vigilance are essential for protection against dengue. He urged citizens not to allow waterlogging in and around their homes and localities, as stagnant water becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Mohan Yadav also encouraged people to spread awareness about dengue prevention among the wider public.

Mohan Yadav: Emphasis on preventive measures

The Chief Minister stated that maintaining a clean environment is the foundation of a healthy life and called upon residents to actively participate in sanitation and hygiene efforts.

Health officials have repeatedly advised people to ensure proper disposal of waste, regular cleaning of coolers and containers, and the prevention of stagnant water accumulation during changing weather conditions.

Awareness campaigns continue across the state

The Madhya Pradesh government has been conducting awareness initiatives and health campaigns to educate people about symptoms, prevention and timely treatment of dengue.

Officials said local administrations and health departments are being encouraged to strengthen surveillance and sanitation activities to reduce the risk of seasonal outbreaks in different parts of Madhya Pradesh.
