Maharashtra News: In the early hours of Sunday, a large fire broke out at a hand glove manufacturing company in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, killing at least six people.
The Terrifying Outbreak
The factory in the Waluj MIDC area caught fire at 2:15 in the morning. Speaking to news agency ANI, a fire official said, “We received a call at 2:15 a.m. When we reached the incident site, the entire factory was on fire. Locals informed us that six people were trapped inside. Our officers entered and the bodies of six people have been recovered.”
Conflicting Reports and Ongoing Efforts
Although fire department officials later confirmed that six people died as a result of the fire, locals had earlier claimed that five workers were trapped inside the building. While efforts are being made to put out the fire, its origin has not yet been determined.
