Patna News: In a recent decision, the railway has decided to increase the number of special trains for Chhath Puja. Currently, 16 pairs of special trains will run from various cities to multiple stations in Bihar. A special train from Puri to Patna via Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Kharagpur, Asansol, and Jhajha has been announced. The Chhath Special Train from Puri will depart on November 15 at 23:30 and reach Patna the next day at 14:30. Another train from Dibrugarh to Gorakhpur will operate on November 20 and 27, starting at 19:55 from Dibrugarh.
A special train between Pune and Danapur
A special train between Pune and Danapur has been scheduled. The CSMT-Danapur Superfast Special Train will depart from Mumbai on November 18 and 25 at 11:50, reaching Danapur the next day at 14:00. Additionally, a CSMT-Danapur One Way Special Train will travel from Bhusaval, Itarsi, and Prayagraj to Danapur. The Pune-Danapur Special Train will open on November 14 at 19:55. The Jaipur-Jogbani Special Train will start from Jaipur on November 16, reaching Jogbani via Patna.
Katra-Katihar Festival Express
The Katra-Katihar Festival Express will commence on November 15 from Katra, passing through Ludhiana, Muradabad, Gorakhpur, Haziipur, and Barauni, reaching Katihar. The Amritsar-Darbhanga Festival Express will travel from Amritsar to Darbhanga via Ludhiana, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Sitamarhi. It starts on November 16 at 8:10 from Amritsar and opens on November 17 at 13:15.
The Yeshvantpur-Muzaffarpur Special Train will run from Nagpur, Itarsi, Jabalpur, and Patliputra to Muzaffarpur via Hajipur. The SMV-Bariuni Special Train will open on November 15 from Bengaluru, reaching Barauni. The Mysuru-Raxaul Special Train will travel from Mysuru on November 15 at 17:00, reaching Raxaul via Patna.
