What did CM Shivraj say?

He clearly stated, “Congress is the problem for the country today and Rahul Gandhi is Congress’s problem.” During a recent media interview, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan criticized the Congress party’s decision to stage a silent protest, suggesting that they should have kept their mouths shut during previous controversial incidents involving Rahul Gandhi.

Chouhan highlighted Gandhi’s indirect dig towards Modi’s caste, which he argued was insulting to the entire OBC community. The Chief Minister accused Rahul of having an overly inflated sense of self-importance. He suggested that they should have shut their mouth when they previously insulted the judiciary. He also took issue with Rahul’s conduct in Parliament, highlighting a particular incident where he winked after making a statement, which he felt was undignified behaviour for an MP.

He will be appealing in higher court for his stay, however, it remains to be seen what happens to the party once he gets into prison as he won’t be able to fight any election for next 6 years, as per the law.
