Anurag Dhanda: The Punjab Police has arrested Karmveer Deo, an alleged close associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, at Delhi Airport after he was deported from Canada, according to reports.
AAP leader Anurag Dhanda welcomed the development and praised the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government for its action against gangsters. Dhanda said the government was taking strong action against criminals and asserted that no offender in Punjab would be spared.

Karmveer Deo Accused of Helping Anmol Bishnoi
According to the report shared by Dhanda, Karmveer Deo is accused of helping Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, flee India.
Deo is also alleged to have provided accommodation and legal assistance to individuals linked to the gang in the United States.
Anurag Dhanda Praises Bhagwant Mann Government
Reacting to the arrest, Dhanda said the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government was taking decisive action against gangsters and their associates.
He asserted that the state government would continue its crackdown on criminal elements and said those involved in criminal activities would not be allowed to escape accountability.
The arrest comes amid continued efforts by Punjab Police to identify and disrupt alleged organised crime networks and their associates.
