Bhagwant Mann: Punjab Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh has said that the state government’s anti-drug e-rickshaw campaign has now expanded to 3,440 villages, further strengthening the ongoing “Yudh Nashian Virudh” initiative aimed at combating drug abuse across the state.

According to the minister, the specially designated e-rickshaws are playing a significant role in spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, encouraging individuals struggling with addiction to seek rehabilitation, and facilitating the collection of confidential information related to drug trafficking and substance abuse.
Dr Balbir Singh stated that the campaign is currently operating across 86 Assembly constituencies, helping carry the message of a drug-free Punjab to communities at the grassroots level. He said the initiative combines public awareness, rehabilitation support, and confidential complaint mechanisms on a single platform, making it easier for citizens to participate in the anti-drug movement.
