Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann interacted with women during a Lok Milni programme held in Jindwari village of Sri Anandpur Sahib, sharing moments of happiness with mothers and sisters from the area.

According to Punjab Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains, the Chief Minister expressed happiness over the positive changes and growing confidence being witnessed among around 80 lakh women across Punjab.

During the public interaction in Jindwari village, Bhagwant Mann met women and shared their experiences and moments of happiness. The interaction provided an opportunity for local residents to engage directly with the Chief Minister.

Bains said the Chief Minister was pleased to see the changes taking place in the lives of a large number of women across the state.

Focus on Women’s Confidence and Well-Being

The interaction highlighted the importance of women’s participation and their growing confidence in Punjab. According to Bains, the experiences shared by women reflected changes being witnessed among beneficiaries across the state.

Harjot Singh Bains also said that the next 15 days would see similar public interactions and celebrations across Punjab.

He described the upcoming period as one in which the “khushiyan bhari toon-toon” would once again resonate throughout the state, signalling a continued focus on connecting with people and sharing their experiences.
