Bhagwant Mann Addresses Police Personnel For Maintaining Law And Order in Sangrur: The Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann appreciated the police personnel for maintaining law and order and for acting against crime and drug activities in the state. He said this in a meeting with police officers at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Academy Phillaur, where officers were honored for their work.
Mann Highlights the Role of Punjab Police
In the course of the program, Mann recognized the efforts of Station House Officers (SHOs), Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and other officers who serve the public. He emphasized that it is vital that the police stay in touch with the people and take action if informed about crimes. The Chief Minister also stressed that the police uphold the trust of the public and tackle those indulging in illegal activities. He warned the police against any misuse of power and urged them to follow discipline.

Handling drug-related crime continues to be a major concern of the state government’s law enforcement wing.
