The Mawan-Dhian Satkar Yojana has been introduced on July 1, 2026, to offer financial assistance on a monthly basis to women who are eligible in Punjab. General category women will receive ₹1,000, while SC women will get ₹1,500.

The scheme has distributed its first three months’ financial assistance to over 36 lakh eligible women, above 18 years old who are voters in Punjab. The amount varies between ₹3,000 to ₹4,500.
