Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has achieved a major academic milestone by securing the top position among all State Agricultural Universities in India and ranking second nationwide in the latest Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) rankings. The achievement has been welcomed by Punjab leaders and the academic community as a recognition of the university’s contributions to agricultural education, research, and innovation.

Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema credited the accomplishment to the collective efforts of the university’s faculty members, researchers, teachers, staff, and students.
