Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has said that a secure nation forms the foundation of a developed nation, highlighting India’s advancements in national security and strategic capabilities over the past 12 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a statement, the Chief Minister noted that India has adopted a more decisive approach towards national security, citing measures taken against terrorism and efforts to strengthen the country’s defence preparedness. He said these initiatives have contributed to enhancing India’s security environment and reinforcing its strategic position on the global stage.

Yogi Adityanath referred to operations such as the Surgical Strike, the Balakot Air Strike, and Operation Sindoor as examples of India’s firm response to security challenges. According to him, these actions demonstrated the country’s resolve to protect its sovereignty and address threats to national security.

The Chief Minister also highlighted progress in defence self-reliance, military modernization, and the expansion of infrastructure in border areas. He said investments in indigenous defence production, advanced military capabilities, and improved connectivity in strategic regions have strengthened India’s overall security architecture.

Describing the theme #12YearsOfSurakshitBharat as a reflection of a confident and capable nation, Yogi Adityanath said the country today is better equipped to safeguard its interests while pursuing the vision of a developed India. He emphasized that national security remains a key pillar supporting economic growth, development, and the welfare of citizens.
