Punjab News: In a significant development, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann paid a visit to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at Tihar jail on Tuesday. During the meeting, Mann revealed that Kejriwal had urged him to actively campaign for INDIA bloc candidates in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. Assuring the public about Kejriwal’s well-being, Mann informed reporters that the Delhi CM’s health remains stable, and he is receiving necessary medical care, including insulin.

This marks the second encounter between Mann and Kejriwal within a span of two weeks. Kejriwal has been incarcerated in Tihar jail since April 1 under judicial custody in connection with a case related to alleged money laundering linked to an excise policy.
Despite his confinement, Kejriwal conveyed a message to the electorate, encouraging them to exercise their voting rights without concern for his situation. The meeting between the two prominent leaders underscores the ongoing political dynamics and the significance of their collaboration amid the electoral process.
