Punjab News: Ahead of Holi, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led a high-level meeting in Chandigarh, focusing on accelerating development projects. The discussion brought together key officials from the Public Works Department (PWD), Water Supply Department and Cooperative Department. The primary goal was to ensure the swift execution of government projects for public welfare.
CM Bhagwant Mann Reviews Development Projects
CM Bhagwant Mann emphasised the need for improving essential services, including roads, water supply, and public infrastructure. He instructed officials to remove any obstacles delaying ongoing projects and ensure their timely completion. The meeting aimed at enhancing Punjab’s overall infrastructure and ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach citizens without delays.
PWD Urged to Speed Up Road Projects
Sharing details on social media, CM Bhagwant Mann posted about his discussion with PWD officials. The primary focus was on resolving legal hurdles affecting the Jagraon-Nakodar road project. He directed officials to work efficiently so that the project could be completed and dedicated to the public at the earliest. The PWD was also instructed to expedite pending road repairs and improvements across Punjab.
Water Supply Department to Ensure Efficient Services
The Punjab CM also held discussions with the Water Supply and Cooperative Departments. Officials were directed to ensure uninterrupted water supply in urban and rural areas, particularly in light of the upcoming summer season. The government aims to strengthen Punjab’s water distribution network, ensuring that citizens have access to clean and reliable water.
