It has been almost 8 months since the death of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, but even today this grief is not diminishing. On May 29, Sidhu was shot dead at Jawaharke village of Mansa. Even today Sidhu’s parents and fans are waiting for justice.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has made an announcement to keep the name of Sidhu Moosewala alive. It is to be noted that a road in Punjab’s Mansa district has been named after Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

The name of Ram Dutta Road has been changed by the Mandi Board. This announcement was made by Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh at Mansa on January 26 when the entire country was celebrating Republic Day.

Balbir Singh said that all the accused have been arrested in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. He said that the government is working to bring the accused who are sitting abroad to India. He said that he respects Sidhu’s mother Charan Kaur and she still remembers Sidhu.

Balbir Singh also said that when the DGP of Punjab said in 2016 that there were 57 gangster groups in the state, the then government had failed to curb it. After this, he said that the family of late singer Sidhu Moosewala will get justice.

The Health Minister of Punjab also congratulated the people on the spring season and said that the Punjab government has brought new hopes for the people of the state and the state should be made a colorful Punjab again.
