‘Rajasthan Government’s Programs Aimed at Long-Term Welfare, Not Election Gains,’ Says Ashok Gehlot

Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, claimed on Friday that his administration’s programmes were not election-related but rather were the result of research that was done to permanently benefit the populace. At a public forum in the state’s Sikar district, which will hold assembly elections later this year, he stated that the government’s goal is to serve the people and that it has been working for the welfare of every sector of society.

Social Programmes Designed for Long-Term Impact

Gehlot, a prominent Congress leader, claimed that “these were not election oriented but were permanent” and that the state government had established social programmes like the Old Pension Scheme, the Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana, and the Social Security Pension Scheme after conducting research. The state government’s goal is to elevate Rajasthan to the nation’s top state in each and every industry. To accomplish this goal, everyone must work together, he said. The state government’s programmes, according to the chief minister, help every segment of society, and Rajasthan has emerged as a national leader in the field of education.

Rajasthan CM Gehlot’s Education Reforms: 303 Colleges Established

“303 colleges have been established thus far while our government has been in office. Sikar, Alwar, and Bharatpur now have universities, he noted. In order to boost girl education, Gehlot continued, the state administration has chosen to upgrade 500 girl-only schools into colleges. Gehlot claimed that Manmohan Singh, the previous prime minister, made “revolutionary” choices to put the Right to Education Act, the Right to Information Act, and the Food Security Act into effect. Similar to other states, the Rajasthan government has implemented the Right to Health (RTH) for a healthy Rajasthan and has given the populace economic and social assistance by raising the social security pension amount, the official said. According to the chief minister, the Social Security Act should be applied uniformly throughout the nation by the national government as well.The chief minister visited a “inflation relief camp” earlier and spoke with folks there. Addressing the audience were the Congressman in charge of Rajasthan for the state, Govind Singh Dotasra, the Minister of Industries, Shakuntala Rawat, and MLA Mahadeo Singh Khandela. Gehlot later spoke at a rally in the Jhunjhunu district.
