In Rajasthan’s Bikaner, a case has been filed against five people, including two police officers, for the kidnapping, gang-rape, and murder of a Dalit lady.
The victim, a 20-year-old Bikaner villager who commuted to Khajuwala for computer classes, used to be there. According to the victim’s relatives, the primary suspect, Dinesh Vishnoi, had been following her for the previous 15 days.
On Tuesday morning when she approached her tutoring centre, Dinesh abducted the woman along with two police officers from Khajuwala police station.
They then transported her to Dinesh’s house, where she was killed after being gang-raped.
According to the woman’s father, the accused buried her body in Khajuwala close to a movie theatre in an effort to cover up the gang-rape and murder.
The two police officers were named as Manoj and Bhagirath Vishnoi. They were both put on hold.
