Rajasthan Mother Kills Her 4 Children, Then Dies By Suicide

A shocking news is coming out from Mandali police station area of Barmer district of Rajasthan. Here on the evening of May 3, a woman allegedly killed her four innocent children. After this she committed suicide by hanging himself.

The police officer informed about the incident on May 4 and told that the woman first allegedly put her four children in a grain drum and closed its lid and then committed suicide by hanging herself. All the five bodies have been sent to the hospital for postmortem.

Circle Station Officer Kamlesh told that the name of the deceased woman was Urmila and she was 27 years old. The woman, a resident of Baniyawas village, allegedly put her four children Bhawna (8), Vikram (5), Vimala (3) and Manisha (2) in a grain drum and closed its lid. After this she committed suicide by hanging himself.

Husband was not present at home

According to the police, the woman’s husband Jetharam was not present at home at the time of the incident. He had gone to Jodhpur for wages. He told that when his relatives living nearby did not see the children and women till evening, he went to Urmila’s house. As soon as he reached home, he saw a shocking sight. On one side, the dead body of the woman was found hanging on the noose, while on the other side, her children were found lying locked in the bajra tanker. The relatives along with the villagers informed the police about this. The police reached the spot and sent the dead bodies to the Kalyanpur hospital mortuary.

Family members accused

Durgaram, the uncle of the deceased woman, has submitted a report to the police accusing her husband and in-laws of harassing her for the last five years. Her uncle Durgaram has accused the deceased woman’s husband of murder and demanded appropriate action to get justice. The police have registered the case. The bodies will be handed over to the relatives after the post-mortem by the medical board.
