The Rajasthan government is gearing up to celebrate Rajasthan Day (March 30, 2025), marking the foundation of the state with a week-long series of grand events. During this celebration, the state will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth nearly Rs 5,000 crore. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma chaired a review meeting at the CM residence on Monday to discuss the upcoming festivities and projects for Rajasthan Day.

Rajasthan Government to Celebrate Rajasthan Day with Grand Events and Development Initiatives

In his address, the CM outlined several key initiatives planned for the event. Employment Festivals will be held at district headquarters, where appointment letters for government jobs will be distributed. Furthermore, the government plans to introduce policies for skill development and youth empowerment, including the Skill Policy and the Youth Policy. Additionally, the World Worker Young Entrepreneur Encouragement Scheme and the Chief Minister Educated Rajasthan Campaign will also be launched during the celebrations.

State to Unveil Rs 5,000 Crore Development Projects, Launch Skill Policies and More

Another major highlight will be the Kisan Melas (farmer festivals), where the state government will organize Farmer Producer Organization fairs. This will include the Laado Encouragement Scheme, the distribution of CIF funds to beneficiaries, and various welfare initiatives for women. Rajasthan’s women will also benefit from the distribution of Induction Cooktops, Scooties under the Kalibai Bhil Scheme, and Vivekananda Scholarship Scheme benefits.

Additionally, the CM announced the launch of a mobile app for monitoring investment proposals under the Rising Rajasthan initiative, aimed at supporting investors and ensuring smooth implementation of projects. The app will assist in the real-time tracking of investment plans in the state.

Before this, the CM reviewed plans for the proposed Rajasthan Mandapam in Jaipur. The Mandapam is envisioned to provide world-class facilities for business and cultural events, further strengthening Rajasthan’s role as a hub for trade and tourism.

The upcoming celebrations and initiatives promise significant contributions to the state's development, economic growth, and empowerment of youth and women.
