In a shocking turn of events, the adult biker could be seen guiding the young child to take cigarette puffs and beer sips while the incident is getting recorded.
In the video, the child could be seen coughing after smoking the cigarette and sipping from the beer.
Rajasthan Viral Video-Punishable Offence Under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita
The registration number of the bike in the video could be clearly sign (RJ25 SS 8392). The video was shared on X by Divya Tandon who tagged @PoliceRajasthan to take immediate and strict action. Divya reminds social media users that offering tobacco and alchol to minors in India is a punishable offence under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). She also emphasized on the fact that young children and toddlers should never be treated as props for creating reels and social media content.
Divya commented that strict legal action must be taken if this video is verified. She added that protecting minors is non-negotiable.
Under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, offering alcohol to minors in India is considered a severe offense that is punishable under the law. Offenders could face rigorous imprisonment of up to 7 years along with a fine of ₹1 lakh.
