Rajasthan Weather Update: Rajasthan, has experienced consecutive Western disturbances this season, keeping temperatures in check during April. The weather is expected to remain clear for the next four days, with no significant increase in temperature anticipated.

The first week of May could also bring relief from the heat as a new weather system is expected to become active on May 4th. This system may bring scattered light rainfall or drizzle in some areas across six districts.

Relief from Heat Expected in Jaipur, Rajasthan

Reviewing the situation over the last 24 hours, parts of northern Rajasthan, including Ganganagar and Hanumangarh, witnessed rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning, leading to a decrease in daytime temperatures. In Hanumangarh, the maximum temperature dropped by 4 degrees to 33.2 degrees Celsius, while in Ganganagar, it fell by 3.5 degrees to 35 degrees Celsius.

Additionally, the western regions of Rajasthan experienced a general decrease in temperatures, with Bhilwara, Sikar, Dungarpur, Sirohi, Barmer, Jalor, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Churu, Falodi, and Bikaner recording a decline of 1 to 2 degrees Celsius. This drop in temperature has resulted in reduced heat in these districts.

Yesterday, temperatures were recorded at 39.2 degrees Celsius in Barmer, 37.5 degrees Celsius in Jaisalmer, 37.9 degrees Celsius in Jodhpur, and 37.3 degrees Celsius in Churu and Bikaner. Kota recorded the highest temperature at 42 degrees Celsius.

According to Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Jaipur Meteorological Center, a new weather system will be active from May 4th. He mentioned that there is no significant change expected in temperatures due to the influence of northerly winds over the next 24 hours. However, on May 4th, areas like Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Ganganagar, Jaisalmer, and Falodi may experience light rainfall or drizzle along with dusty winds in these districts.
