Uttarakhand News: E-Office System Adopted By AYUSH Department! Roster Basis Duties For Doctors

Uttarakhand News: The AYUSH Secretary placed special emphasis on AYUSH service portal registrations, strengthening hospitals in remote areas and establishing Panchakarma centres.

Uttarakhand News: The Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) department of Uttarakhand Government would undergo a significant administrative transition with the mandatory e-office system implementation. This marks a considerable step toward improved efficiency and governance.

The decision was taken during a high-level review meeting that was chaired at Dehradun’s Directorate of Ayurvedic and Unani Services by AYUSH Secretary Ranjana Rajguru.

Strict instructions were given by the secretary that all types of departmental correspondences should now happen only and mandatorily via e-office. Moreover, biometric attendance for all personnel would be implemented soon as per the instructions. Also, all personnel would receive training on the iGot Karmayogi portal.

Additional Directives

AYUSH Secretary Ranjana Rajguru instructed the availability of marking staff in designated hospitals of the state along the Char Dham Yatra route. The Secretary also instructed that all duties must be assigned to the roster ahead of the Char Dham Yatra.

It was also announced that extensive promotion of facilities provided to pilgrims would be carried out. Moreover, the complete process of identifying land to construct a new building for strengthen the Rishikul Pharmacy will be completed soon and medicine inspections will be strictly enforced, as per the AYUSH secretary.

The AYUSH Secretary placed special emphasis on AYUSH service portal registrations, strengthening hospitals in remote areas and establishing Panchakarma centres. It was also remarked that mobile vans and social media would be leveraged for creating and nurturing public awareness.

The Secretary also instructed that all construction work must conform to prescribed standards. Instructions for regular on-site inspections, monitoring of schemes and timely completion must be adhered within the stipulated deadlines. A decision was also taken to review the progress of each and every district every month. The meeting was also attended by Director Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande and departmental officials.
