A helicopter service is set to commence between Rishikesh, Rani, and Dehradun, starting from Vaijnath Dham in the Bara Bazaar district. The technical team from Heritage Company is scheduled to arrive on January (Wednesday), and after their assessment, the likelihood of launching the helicopter service is high. According to district administration sources,
the approximate travel time for the journey between Vaijnath and Dehradun will be 40 minutes, with the journey to Dehradun taking approximately 30 minutes. The fare per passenger could be around a thousand rupees. The Heritage Company is expected to launch this high-service initiative on January 10.
Helicopter Service to Enhance Connectivity: Initiation of Heli-Service from Vaijnath Dham to Rishikesh and Dehradun Soon
Heli-Services from Bara Bazaar to Haldwani and Dehradun are set to commence on January 10. For this purpose, the Merit Company is arriving here on Wednesday. After technical surveys, determining the fare, and other necessary details, the high-service operation will commence. The administration is making efforts to ensure that people benefit from regular helicopter services.
During this trial period, a significant number of people availed the Heli-Services, reaping benefits, while the company was also apprehensive about passenger response. The journey from Bara Bazaar to Bilona, covering approximately three kilometers, was conducted in about ten minutes. Not only did this aerial journey captivate passengers attending the fair, but it also encouraged the Heli Company to initiate services to Srinagar and Dehradun. District administration is actively involved in this effort.
