Ayodhya News: In response to an overwhelming surge of devotees seeking a glimpse of Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya, the top authorities of the state government have remained on high alert since early Wednesday. Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad and DG, Law and Order, Prashant Kumar personally supervised crowd management on the temple premises, ensuring a smooth flow of devotees on the second day after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
Orderly Devotee Movement and Enhanced Security Measures
The orderly movement of devotees has been prioritized since the opening of the temple door in the morning. Devotees are allowed entry only after thorough scanning, with stringent measures in place to prevent the introduction of any objectionable items into the temple premises. DG Prashant Kumar assured that a comprehensive crowd management plan would be implemented soon, and senior officials, including ADG Lucknow Zone Piyush Mordia and IG Ayodhya Range Praveen Kumar, would remain present at the temple for the next 10 days.
Controlled Access Scheme and Swift Crowd Dispersal
An unnamed senior state official revealed that holding areas would be constructed to enforce a controlled access scheme. In the event of an unprecedented footfall, designated holding areas would temporarily detain the crowd, allowing phased movement towards the temple to prevent congestion at the entry point. Additionally, arrangements have been made for the swift dispersal of the crowd from the temple vicinity after darshan to avoid gatherings and ensure a controlled and safe environment.
