Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic road accident in Mathura district that claimed several lives. Taking immediate cognizance of the incident, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls.

CM Yogi Adityanath directed the district administration and health officials to ensure immediate, proper and free medical treatment for all the injured. He instructed authorities to provide every possible assistance to the victims and their families so that no one faces any difficulty during this critical time.
Announcement Of Ex-Gratia Relief
The Chief Minister also announced financial assistance of ₹2 lakh each to the families of the deceased, while ₹50,000 will be provided to each injured person. He emphasized that the state government stands firmly with the affected families and will extend all necessary support.
Senior officials have been asked to closely monitor the relief and treatment process and ensure swift implementation of the announced compensation. The Uttar Pradesh government has reiterated its commitment to public safety and timely assistance during emergencies.
In addition, the Chief Minister instructed officials to conduct a thorough inquiry into the cause of the accident to ascertain whether negligence, over-speeding, or any technical fault was involved. He emphasized that strict action should be taken against those found responsible, so that such incidents can be prevented in the future.
CM Yogi Adityanath also asked the local administration to maintain constant coordination with hospitals, ensuring availability of doctors, medicines, and emergency facilities for the injured. He stressed that no lapses would be tolerated in rescue, relief, or medical care.
The district administration has been directed to stay in touch with the affected families, assist them with legal and administrative procedures, and ensure the prompt disbursement of compensation. The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the safety of citizens remains the top priority of the Uttar Pradesh government and that lessons will be drawn from the incident to strengthen road safety measures across the state.
