In a message shared on social media, Yogi said that the ‘New Uttar Pradesh’ was set to witness significant progress in modern rail transportation and youth skill development.
New Skill Development Initiative in Uttar Pradesh
He announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would inaugurate the Vande Bharat Sleeper train service connecting Varanasi, the holy city of Kashi, with the national capital, New Delhi. The service is expected to provide a new boost to rail connectivity between the two important destinations.
The Chief Minister said that the introduction of the modern sleeper train would strengthen transportation facilities while creating fresh opportunities for trade, tourism and other economic activities. Improved connectivity between Varanasi and Delhi is also expected to benefit passengers travelling over longer distances.
Alongside the railway development, Yogi highlighted the launch of the ‘Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Skill Training and Employment Zone Development Scheme’ in Lucknow. The initiative aims to improve the skills of young people and connect them with new opportunities for employment and self-employment.
According to the Chief Minister, the scheme will play an important role in enhancing the professional capabilities of young people and helping them become more actively involved in the state’s economic development.
Yogi said that while modern railway services would strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s transport infrastructure, skill development initiatives would empower the state’s youth and expand their employment prospects.
He described both developments as important steps towards building a modern and economically stronger Uttar Pradesh, with improved infrastructure and greater opportunities for its young population.
