Officials said that the scheme continues to play an important role in strengthening the rural economy by ensuring timely financial aid to farmers. The direct transfer mechanism ensures transparency and eliminates middlemen, allowing beneficiaries to receive the full amount directly in their accounts.

According to the government, farmers from Uttar Pradesh make up nearly 23 percent of the total beneficiaries across the country under the scheme. Since the launch of the initiative, farmers in the state have received more than ₹99,000 crore in financial assistance.

The state government said the continued implementation of the scheme reflects the broader vision of building a prosperous farming community and a stronger rural economy, while ensuring that farmers receive the support they need for sustainable agricultural growth.

Officials also noted that the financial assistance under the scheme helps farmers meet essential agricultural needs such as purchasing seeds, fertilizers, and other farming inputs. This support is particularly beneficial for small and marginal farmers who often face financial constraints during the cultivation season.

The government further stated that initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi are part of a larger effort to improve farmers’ income and promote agricultural development. By ensuring timely financial support and strengthening welfare schemes, the administration aims to enhance the overall economic condition of farmers across Uttar Pradesh.
