NCRB Data Shows Decline in Crime Rate Against SCs
The state police emphasized that the crime rate is a reliable indicator as it balances the effect of population size and growth, giving a clear picture of the situation. UP Police stated that it remains sensitive to crimes against marginalized sections and is committed to ensuring justice through strong legal action.
CM Yogi Adityanath has often underlined that his government’s “zero tolerance” policy against crime is backed by a robust policing system, improved accountability, and rapid investigation processes. The focus remains on making Uttar Pradesh one of the safest states in the country by combining strict law enforcement with social awareness.
Officials also noted that this decline in crime rates reflects the growing trust of people in law enforcement agencies. The government is working to further strengthen preventive mechanisms and ensure that justice is accessible to the weakest sections of society.
