CM Yogi Adityanath Targets TMC Over Women’s Reservation Bill, Set to Address Rallies in West Bengal

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has strongly criticized the Trinamool Congress (TMC) over its opposition to the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ (Women’s Reservation Bill), calling it an “attack on the dignity of women and Bharat Mata.”

CM Yogi Adityanath Slams TMC Government

In a statement shared on social media, CM Yogi alleged that the TMC government’s stance has obstructed the rights of women, referring to them as “half the population.” He further stated that such opposition has hurt the cultural and spiritual ethos of West Bengal, often regarded as a land that reveres feminine power.

According to him, women in the state feel “betrayed” and are now determined to respond democratically to what he described as injustice against women empowerment.

Public Rallies Scheduled Across Key Constituencies

The Chief Minister is scheduled to address a series of public rallies in West Bengal to mobilize support and connect with voters. As per the official update from Office of Yogi Adityanath, the rallies will be held at:

  • Pingla Assembly Constituency (West Midnapore) at 12:50 PM
  • Jaipur Assembly Constituency (Purulia) at 2:05 PM
  • Garbeta Assembly Constituency (Jhargram) at 3:05 PM
