Ghaziabad News: Trader shot dead by 2 bike-borne assailants

Ghaziabad News: In Muradnagar a 45-year-old shop owner was shot dead, according to police, by two bike-riding attackers.

Around 9:30 am, the victim, Mukesh Goel, was cleaning his mobile shop in the Railway Road market when a masked assailant entered and shot him in the head and the chest, according to the police.

Goel was taken by ems to a local hospital, where a better facility was suggested to him. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rural) Ravi Kumar, the man passed away as a result of his wounds while being transported.

The two masked assailants arrived on a motorcycle, according to the police. The other stood watch outside while the shooter stepped inside the store and started shooting.

Ravi Kumar added that the suspect will be found shortly and that it appeared to be an issue of property and money. CCTV footage from the store and the surrounding regions was retrieved by the police. Further research is being done.
