Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has praised the rapid expansion of India’s infrastructure sector over the past 12 years, stating that modern infrastructure is a defining characteristic of a developed nation. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for driving transformative projects that have enhanced connectivity, accelerated economic growth, and brought development to previously underserved regions.

Highlighting key achievements, the Chief Minister referred to the Chenab Bridge, one of the world’s highest railway arch bridges, as a remarkable example of engineering excellence. He also cited the Bairabi-Sairang railway project in Mizoram, which has connected the northeastern state to India’s rail network, describing it as a significant step toward inclusive development and national integration.

Yogi Adityanath noted that the government’s focus on infrastructure has extended across multiple sectors, including roads, railways, logistics, and digital transportation systems. The expansion of the national highway network, the implementation of FASTag for seamless toll collection, and record investments in the railway sector have contributed to improving mobility and reducing travel times across the country.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the operationalization of Dedicated Freight Corridors, which are expected to enhance freight movement, reduce logistics costs, and strengthen India’s supply chain infrastructure. According to him, these initiatives have provided a new momentum to economic development while improving efficiency in the transportation sector.
Emphasizing the importance of balanced regional development, Yogi Adityanath said that major infrastructure projects are helping ensure that growth reaches every corner of the country, including remote and border regions. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for advancing the vision of inclusive development and for spearheading projects that are reshaping India’s economic and connectivity landscape.
