Mathura News: Thousands of cow vigilantes and members of Hindu organizations staged violent protests after cow smugglers ran over Chandrashekhar, popularly known as the “Farse Wale Baba.” The incident happened around 5am on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr.
A cow smuggler was caught by the cow vigilantes; the smuggler has now been handed over to the state police. Following reports about widespread protests, SSP Shlok Kumar Singh and District Magistrate (DM) CP Singh arrived at the scene to pacify the angry crowds.

According to media reports, Baba received information that some members of a cow smuggling gang were active in Navipur that lies within the Kosikalan Police Station area. Baba decided to pursue the cow smugglers with his team at night on a bike but his bike was hit by cow smugglers. Widespread anger soon spread among Hindu organizations and cow protectors.
The cow protector was killed on the spot and the incident news immediately spread like wildfire. Thousands of Hindu organization members blocked the Agra-Delhi Highway and started pelting stones at the Uttar Pradesh Police. Massive tension has spread across the area and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered an urgent inquiry into the matter. Heavy police force has also been deployed at the scene.
Farse Wale Baba
Farse wale baba was known throughout Vrindavan and Mathura for protecting cattle and his fearless nature. His body is now transferred to his cowshed in Anjanokh village where thousands of followers and others have gathered.
