Noida News : Lift Crash Injures Nine IT Firm Employees in Noida High-Rise

In a harrowing incident, nine employees of an IT firm sustained injuries when the lift they were using plummeted from the eighth floor of a high-rise commercial tower in Sector 125, Noida. The incident occurred around 5.45 pm as the employees were leaving for home after work.

Details of the Incident:

• Location: The mishap took place at the River Side Tower in Sector 125, Noida.
• Injury Severity: Five out of the nine victims were admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) due to critical injuries, including fractures. Their conditions are reported to be stable.
• Emergency Response: Local police promptly responded to the incident, rushing to the spot after receiving information about the fallen lift. The injured individuals were swiftly transported to a nearby private hospital for medical attention.
• Common Workplace: All nine injured employees belonged to the same firm, Erasmith Technologies Private Limited, which rents office space in the commercial tower.

Expressing concern over the incident, Rajneesh Verma, Assistant Commissioner of Police-1, Noida, provided details of the swift response and the current conditions of the injured individuals. Authorities are likely to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the lift malfunction.
