According to the state government, more than ₹1,600 crore is being invested in 65 projects to expand modern medical facilities and improve the infrastructure of healthcare and medical institutions across Uttar Pradesh.

The initiatives are being undertaken under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, with the government highlighting the expansion of medical education alongside the development of healthcare infrastructure.
The projects are expected to support the creation and strengthening of modern medical facilities, helping improve access to healthcare services for people across different parts of the state.
The Uttar Pradesh government said the ongoing expansion reflects its focus on building a stronger and more modern healthcare system. Alongside increasing opportunities in medical education, the state is also working to upgrade the infrastructure required to support healthcare delivery.
The government has described the initiative as part of its broader efforts to create a “healthy and empowered Uttar Pradesh” by continuously expanding medical facilities and strengthening healthcare institutions.
