Uttar Pradesh News: The online Census 2027 would formally start in the state of Uttar Pradesh from May 7 to May 21, 2026. From May 22, census workers would go door-to-door to collect data till June 20, 2026.

Uttar Pradesh News-How to Register Yourself and Your Family

To begin the process, go to the Census of India 2027 website. Choose Uttar Pradesh as your state, fill in the captcha code, and click on “verify & proceed.” Then, enter your mobile number and validate it using the OTP you receive.

Note: For the 2026–27 Census self-enumerations, each household can use only one mobile number.

After verification, you’ll need to enter household details, including the name of the head of the family. Select your district, provide your PIN code, and add information about your village, town, or a nearby landmark. When you click on search, a map will appear with a red marker; you’ll need to move this marker to indicate your exact home location.

Once the location is correctly marked, click “save & next,” and you’ll receive a confirmation message. Proceed by filling in further details such as the number of married couples in the household, and whether you have access to a mobile phone, internet, or a vehicle, along with the type of house you live in.

At the end, click on “final submit” to complete the entire process and you will be issued an 11-digit SE ID, which should be saved and shown to census officials during their visit.
